Four months before beginning previews in the Broadway musical The Bridges of Madison County, Kelli O'Hara has become a mother for the second time. The four-time Tony nominee and her husband, Greg Naughton, welcomed a baby girl on September 16, according to her manager, who told Broadway.com, "Mother and baby are doing well." No name or birth weight has been announced for baby girl Naughton, who joins big brother Owen James, age four.
O'Hara was a Broadway trouper through both of her pregnancies, appearing in South Pacific while eexpecting Owen and in the off-Broadway musical Far From Heaven while awaiting her daughter's birth. She did skip a summer production of Bridges at Williamstown Theatre Festival, where the role of Francesca Johnson was played by Elena Shaddow.
The Bridges of Madison County will begin previews on January 13, 2014, at the Schoenfeld Theatre and open on February 27, co-starring Steven Pasquale as Robert Kincaid.
